Hello, I’m at a complete loss why the steps can’t be read out. I have had no problems with any I2C device and my subroutines and it almost seems to me to be a hardware/ software problem of the RN-MOTOR ST but you could first try using different pull up resistors on the scl and sda line to see if this helps. You could also try changing all the “i2c_byte = 255” into “i2c_byte = 0”. Could it be that you have a RN-MOTOR GT instead of the ST version?? Try asking on a forum if anybody has had problems reading out the steps of the motor controller. Let me know how it works out. Greetings, H.J. Windt |
