Hello, the READSERIAL function needs at least firmware 2.03 of the M Unit. If you bought an M Unit 2.02 you are able to update the controller to 2.03. The M Unit 2.01 is not updateable to M 2.03. You can check with this small BASIC++ program your controller version: define ver as byte[64] print ver This should either send "201" for 2.01 or "202" (203) for 2.02 (2.03) to your RS232 Port. Download this program: http://www.fdos.de/ccbpp/download/updatecc1v203.exe and update the controller firmware (*.dat file) by using the BASIC++ Software. Meine Homepage: http://www.fdos.de
