Hello Francois, I think the signals you like to simulate are mixed signals, means some of them are digital (like crankshaft and camshaft signal) and some of them are analog (like throttle angle and engine temperature). Possibly you have to specify the signals before somebody can decide if CC1 is appropriate for this purpose. With CC1 you have 16 digital in/outputs available, which can also be changed in kHz range (when applying Assembler code), 8 ADC inputs but only 2 DA (PWM) outputs with limited update frequency. All signals are in the range of 0...5V. In general I would say: Yes, with CC1 you could do some engine signal simulation (with limitation and possibly addtl HW effort). I remember my student times: We did some engine simulation (digital signals) with an Infineon/Siemens C164 uC and it worked well.
